Lindheimer Senna is an erect, bushy perennial with yellow blooms. It grows in sun or part shade, in shallow limestone soil, on hillsides or dry, rocky fields. Its leaves are gray, thick and have a velvety texture. It is effective in a wildflower garden as either a specimen, or background plant. Birds and other wildlife eat the seeds.
